Home, work, and… where? Masjids used to be the place we just showed up. events.masjids.io brings that back, in the masjid and well beyond it.

Show features for

Find your people, and something to go to

Whether you just moved to a new city, just took your shahada, or just want to see your friends more often.

  • Find things to do nearby

Browse events, hangouts and clubs near you, and pick your interests so your feed fits. Filter by day, distance, group size, brothers-only or sisters-only, beginner-friendly or free.

  • Brothers-only and sisters-only, clearly marked

Every event and hangout says who it's for: brothers, sisters or everyone. Filter for what fits you.

  • “4 of your friends are going”

See how many friends are going before you decide, so you never walk in alone.

  • Join a club

Find a club for what you're into, like a book club, hiking, volleyball, coding or sisters' fitness. Join or ask to join, then RSVP to its regular hangouts.

  • QR check-in at the door

Your pass lives on your phone. Show the QR code at the door and you're in.

  • Add the people you met

After the event, add the people you met in one tap.

  • New to the faith?

Find beginner-friendly events, and members who offer to “Host a Revert” and welcome you at the door.

Everything you need to host

For masjid boards, MSA officers, club leaders and anyone with an idea: one place for the whole event, from the first RSVP to the last check-in.

  • Rich event pages

Add sessions, speakers and a schedule, plus a map pin, a banner, a photo gallery and a livestream link. Set capacity and tags, then share one link.

  • Draft, publish, finish

Save a draft, publish when it's ready, and mark it finished when it's over, or cancel if plans change.

  • Free or paid tickets

Take free RSVPs or sell tickets in tiers, each with its own capacity. Create promo codes, hide a tier for special guests, and let people join a waitlist when it fills up.

  • Ask for volunteers

Ask for exactly what you need, like 2 parking attendants. People apply, you choose, and volunteers earn badges on their profile.

  • Attendance after every event

See RSVPs, check-ins, no-shows and arrival times, and download a report for your board.

Set it for each event, and change it later if you need to.

The part that happens after the event

Come for the event. Leave with friends.

Most apps get you to an event. events.masjids.io helps the people you meet there become your people.

  1. Walk in knowing someone

See which friends are going before you RSVP.

  2. Check in at the door

    Scan the QR. You're in.

  3. Keep in touch

After the event, add the people you met in one tap. Only if you both want to.

  4. Keep running into each other

events.masjids.io notices who you keep showing up with, and suggests clubs and hangouts where you'll see them again.

Your week fills itself.

Your feed brings together what your friends are going to, what your masjid is hosting and what your clubs have planned. No ads, and nothing in your feed is paid to be there.

Your Pings go to the people close to you first, not to everyone.

Private unless you both agree

Who you attended with stays private unless you both say otherwise.

Going solo?

Hide your RSVP from friends anytime.

Hangouts

Not everything needs a flyer.

Coffee after Fajr. A walk after Isha. Anyone can host a small hangout and cap it at six people.
